New paper published on “Balancing partner preferences for logistics costs and carbon footprint in a horizontal cooperation”
Our paper “Balancing partner preferences for logistics costs and carbon footprint in a horizontal cooperation” has been published in OR Spectrum. In this work, we propose an optimization framework that explicitly accounts for the individual partners’ interests in a context of horizontal supply chain collaboration. We allow all partners to specify their personal preferences regarding a decrease in logistical costs versus a reduction in CO2 emissions. As such, companies are more likely to accept the solution, and the long-term viability of the collaboration is improved.
