The Department of Quantitative Economics of the School of Business and Economics (Maastricht University) has a vacancy for a 4-year PhD position. As a PhD you are expected to write a PhD thesis in one of the fields of expertise of the department. Topics include econometrics, operations research, actuarial sciences, and economic theory, with a strong focus on quantitative and analytical methods. Both fundamental research as well as applied topics are possible, depending on your interests.
